Exceptionally smooth and full of flavour this special Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition has been finished in the rich Oloroso seasoned American Oak that has been especially selected for its fine yet robust balance. It is richly satisfying, taking on the aromatic and tropical notes from the Oloroso sherry. Fruity notes of banana and pineapple give way to developed hints of fresh apricots and walnuts. Smooth, creamy and coating the palate, the honey-sweet flavour notes give way to nutmeg, and more fruity hints of peach. The finish is attractively sweet and malty with a linge ring vanilla-rich spice.
