Recognized as the “Queen of Waxes”, it stands out as one of the hardest natural waxes available today. Due to its firm texture and water-resistant properties, carnauba wax serves as an excellent vegan alternative to beeswax in DIY skincare, including balms, creams, and salves. Packaged in convenient small flakes inside a resealable craft bag, this wax is easy to measure, store, and incorporate into homemade beauty recipes. It has a light brown to yellow hue with a subtly sweet, earthy aroma. When substituting carnauba wax for beeswax, keep in mind that it requires a higher melting point of 179.6°F, compared to beeswax at 144°F.
